Hard at work painting under the trees during a downpour...
And so Leigh turns 50 today - happy birthday sis!! (I know your hair doesn't look like this anymore but its the most recent photo I've got of you!)
I loved the clash here - a Dirty Dancing taxi and the flags! I think the flags were either lining the Mall for the 'Trooping the Colour' or something to do with the various Falkland War commemorations that have been happening recently.
The Silver Surfer rides the London Eye... promoting the new Fantastic 4 movie I think, but I thought it looked pretty cool!
The inscription describing the memorial. Most of the stands have different stories/writing on them as well.
View of the NZ Memorial at Hyde Park corner. It is diagonally opposite from the Australian memorial which is also really lovely. Very different from the NZ one, but they complement each other nicely.
This is actually from the gig the night before, but there aren't any decent photos of the Friday night one...
This really was a perfect castle to sit and admire in the sun!
I just loved this photo of Alex so I'm also blogging it!
The Indiana Jones aspect of the Treasury! You can see why Petra is called the Rose Red City...
Fantastic photo of Sam's - been there, loved it!
Just to remind people of what I saw!
So here are the results of last night's snowfall... definitely more than last time, but amazingly my trip in to work was pretty painless. And I didn't even have to fight for a seat as loads of people had elected to work from home due to the weather!
It was pretty much all gone by the time I got home tho. I'm off up to Glasgow tomorrow so am hoping for enough snow for it to be fun but not enough for me to either get stuck there or here.
The newest member of the family looking exceedingly cute on the deck at home in Taupo.. Soooo cute!!
